Coming in 2018! Inspiring one-day and short courses in the picturesque market town of Oakham, Rutland.

‘I want to say just how much I enjoyed and benefited from your group coaching course. I always liked the social side of going to Weight Watchers, but felt I needed something else. Your course met my need to connect with others in my position, but it gave me so much more. The stuff about the brain, the great homework tasks – it really was a great experience. I’ve kept in touch with people on the course and we continue to support each other. Thanks ever so much!’ Sue, Oakham

Group CoachingOur courses are run at weekends to give you the time and space to work through the challenges and difficulties you face with food. We believe that it is important to create some distance between what you want to achieve on our course and the noise and interference of everyday life. Creating time for yourself shows you are serious in your commitment to developing more positive eating habits. The Leicestershire and Rutland areas are not short on calm spaces to focus your attention on what is important to you, which is why our first courses will be in the picturesque market town of Oakham.

The content of our courses includes:

  • Understanding the nature of successful, long-term change and why New Year’s resolutions rarely work
  • How bad habits form and why we are so vulnerable to problem eating
  • The crucial role our brains play in creating positive eating habits
  • Strategies to build resilience and respond positively to food set-backs
  • How to set realistic, achievable eating goals and strategies
  • Practical resources to take away and use in your day-to-day lives

Full one-day course An introduction to problem eating and how to overcome it. Cost: £75

Compared to our one-day course there is a greater focus on individual subjects and, as the course progresses, there will be opportunities to:

  • Work with a professional coach over several weeks
  • Set realistic, achievable goals; build effective strategies; reflect on progress
  • Participate in thought-provoking, interactive coaching exercises and activities
  • Share learning and experiences with others
  • Develop self-coaching abilities through completing comprehensive tasks in-between sessions
